Have fun at Nippers
Our focus is on developing our Nippers/Junior Lifesavers so that one day they will become our future lifesavers.
Each year we have fun activities planned throughout the season, as well as carnivals for those who enjoy the thrill of competition!
We look forward to sunny weather, great waves, friendship, sportsmanship and most importantly "FUN".
Dates for 2026/2027 Season
Swim Proficiencies:
We will be holding our swim proficiency for ALL nippers at Coffs Harbour Memorial Pool on Saturday 19th September between 10am - 12pm. EVERY nipper must attend this swim as a prerequisite to starting nippers on the beach.
Starting Date On The Beach:
The Urunga Nippers season starts on Sunday 11th October.
Come along before 8.45am for a 9am start.
All nippers including new nippers will need to have registered, paid and have done their proficiency swim to be able to start nippers on the beach.
Staying safe
We are asking all parents to support us and stay safe by:

Always having a parent/carer/responsible adult on the beach with your child. Nippers is not a 'drop and run' sport

Staying at home if you or your child have cold/flu symptoms or are unwell

Bringing your own sunscreen, water bottles and towels to avoid sharing

Where possible, showering and getting dressed at home
